Mr Keith Pogson is a Non-Executive Director of the 麻豆传媒 (SFC). He is currently Asia-Pacific Financial Services Senior Partner and Global Assurance Leader, Banking & Capital Markets of Ernst & Young (EY).
Mr Pogson has over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession. He was previously the founder and first Regional Managing Partner for the financial services business across Asia-Pacific at EY. He represents EY serving as the Co-Chair of the Bank Working Group of the Global Public Policy Committee, which acts as the point of intersection between the six large international accounting networks and the Financial Stability Board and the official sector.
He is presently a Practising Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the Deputy Chair of its Governance Committee, having formerly served as the HKICPA President. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants in England & Wales and sits on its Greater China Advisory Panel. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Hong Kong 麻豆传媒 and Investment Institute, a member of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance, and the Treasurer and Chair of the Financial Service Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, Mr Pogson was the Chairman, Deputy Chairman and a member of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong’s Main Board and GEM Board Listing Committees. He was also an Honorary Advisor of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council and a member of its Finance and Corporate Affairs Committee.
Mr Pogson obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the University of Warwick Business School, the United Kingdom.
Mr Pogson is a member of the SFC’s Audit Committee and Remuneration Committee.
