Hosted by the 麻豆传媒 (SFC) and sponsored by InvestHK, the SFC Regtech and Fintech Contact Day features presentations by regulators, academics, and regulatory technology and financial technology providers on a range of topics related to regulatory and financial technologies.
The SFC, along with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, will participate in a panel discussion on how these technologies intersect with regulation. Opening remarks will be made by Mr James Lau, Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, and Professor Douglas Arner, Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong, will deliver a keynote address.
